A little sweet and a little spicy, this Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon is broiled and comes together in under 20 minutes. It’s the perfect dinner for busy weeknights.

Ingredient Notes and Health Benefits
Salmon: A great source of lean protein and healthy fats, salmon is one of my favorite types of seafood. It’s also high in selenium, antioxidants and B vitamins. I recommend buying fresh wild caught salmon.
Ground flaxseed: this helps to thicken the glaze. Rather than use cornstarch (which is commonly used to thicken sauces, glazes, etc) I much prefer flaxseed. It is high in omega 3’s, fiber and lignans, which may help prevent cancer.
Olive Oil: High in healthy (monounsaturated) fats, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories.
Sriracha: A hot sauce made from chili pepper, vinegar, garlic and salt. The spice in this recipe comes from the sriracha, so if you are sensitive to spice, I recommend using 1/4 cup instead.

How to Make Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon
This recipe could not be easier! Combine the glaze ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together. Pour into a skillet and cook over medium heat until it begins to bubble and thicken. Brush it onto the salmon filets and place in the oven on broil at 525 for 6-8 minutes. 6 minutes will cook the salmon to about medium, depending on the size of your salmon filets.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion and you’re all set! To keep this meal on the lighter side, I paired the salmon with baked broccolini.

4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
